A Ritual Life | |
| Amy Winehouse has died, I can't say I was surprised, Died at the same age as Jimi and Kurt, Janis and Jim, And had crashed long earlier, vanished from the scene: Life support works only so long before the body quits; Jimi's star was still rising when life's dice overtook him, All the rest were in descent, their talents exhausted By alcohol, drugs and the inevitable, enabling friends, Their voices grown rough with the closeness of death. | |
