The world is changing even as it remains the same. The universe is stranger than we can ever imagine. Today is a good day to be alive. |

E equals Em Cee Squared and all that jazz. At least in the local situation. Usually. Probably. But the universe is dark and deep and crap happens. Nothing is inexplicable. Given enough time, we will understand most all of it.

| Because we are here, all else is. If we were not, who knows what universe might be. | |
| The Cohort | |
| We are the survivors, If it were otherwise, We would be unavailable to Conclude that the universe Suits us so perfectly That someone, some god Must have designed it for us. Someone was bound To win the lottery ticket And who knows how many others Hold the same winning number. The condition of our existence Imposes restrictions on Creation, If the Universe were any different, None of us would be here To smugly assume all of this Was made expressedly for us. |

I mean, we all know there's a good chance Charlie will be dead soon, so I wrote an obituary. Charlie Sheen, who became a tabloid fixture due to his problems with drugs and alcohol, was found dead in his apartment. Actually, you know what? I kind of just copied Amy Winehouse's obituary. I only had to change three things: the sex of the deceased, the location of the body, and the part that says a talent that will be missed. - Seth MacFarlane, Charlie Sheen Roast
